In early December, 2015, RABA awarded a $1000 RABA Grant to REACHcycles, Virginia Chapter of National Ambucs, INC. It was used to help purchase a therapeutic AmTryke cycle giving mobility and independence to one of the very special people with whom they work.
Since June of 2014, REACHcycles has given close to 100 customized, therapeutic cycles to children of all ages and veterans with a variety of disabilities to include cerebral palsy, spinal bifida, congenital and chromosomal disorders. They continue to have a waiting list of applicants who would like a cycle in order to experience the joy of riding with their friends and family.
