Cost:
- Bicycle registration fee increases from March 7 to March 26 to $35 for RABA Members, $40 for non-members.
- SPECIAL: We will have a walking route, $20 now through event day
- Walk-up registration available at Toolbank on April 1: $45 for all bicyclists
- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are looking for event day registration check in, set up, parking marshals, ride leaders, soup serving help, and clean up. If you work, you get free entry to the event!

Silent auction of items from Carytown Bicycles, Coqui Cyclery, Pedal Power, the Outpost, Basic City Brewery, Final Gravity Brewery, Center of the Universe Brewing, Virginia Capital Trail, special bicycling prints, a book by Kathryn Bertine (filmmaker of “Half the Road”, a film on women’s pro cycling), and so much more!
We are also raising awareness / being a supporter of Richmond Cycling Corps (www.richmondcyclingcorps.org)! They use bicycling to support youth in the East End of Richmond.
Other details: Charity partners Richmond Community Toolbank is our host site yet again and we have a new charity partner, the Richmond Cycling Corps (www.richmondcyclingcorps.org). Event runs rain or shine; if it is raining, we will still have a raffle for prizes, soups to taste and money to raise inside Toolbank’s warehouse.
Other notables:
- Like in previous editions of the event, hot soup donations are welcome and wanted! There will be a friendly contest of best tasting soup, voted by riders / runners / walkers. We are so grateful for past donations that nourish bodies and warm souls.
- Two ride options, 34 miles or 43 miles, cue sheets either posted on event site (See above!), sent to participants or available as paper cue sheets on event day.
- Walk of 4 or 5 miles, cue sheets will be provided on event day.
Attention: we need more SPONSORS – we have two levels, $300, $500, and new for this year, a TITLE Sponsor for $1000. Once you or your company are sponsors, we will pass out your marketing materials, place your logo on the RABA Foundation’s web site page and spread the word about the company on other social media sites. The $500 level will include three (3) complimentary registrations and the $1000 will include seven (7) complimentary registrations!
