April 27 (Sunday) Skyline Magic
Pace Time Miles Terrain Stops Leader
B+ 10 am 75 1 One Alan Zoldork, 804-787-0694, ajzoldork@gmail.com

Description: Please join me for a wonderful ride up Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. This will be an out and back course, totaling about 75 miles. I anticipate the average for the lead group will be around 17 mph. Slower groups and lesser distances are always welcome, but mountain rides are often difficult to keep together so keep this in mind. Store stop at the Loft Mountain Wayside. Overall road conditions are excellent.

Climbs are moderate steepness, around 6 or 7%, so nothing that will blow your knees out. We do go very hard on downhills, so be prepared to reach or exceed 40 mph.

We will have lots of fun. We will likely take a little break at the halfway point and enjoy a good snack, so bring something good. Beverages provided by ride leader upon completion. Let me know if you are coming so I can plan accordingly! Finally I have a park pass so but we may need others to bring to avoid the entrance fee.

Start / finish address: This ride will start and end at 130 Afton Cir, Afton, VA.
